hi and hello.

Hello my fantastic readers. I'm approaching 2 million hits, yo. How in the heck did that happen? Well, it's because of you. Sometimes I feel that this blog has been home to such a weird collection of topics (does anyone remember Metal Mondays?) that I often wonder what people like to see here.

So I will just ask.

What would you like to see here?

Do you wish I would post more about crafting, knitting, bento-ing or scrapbooking? (I know that some of you found me through some of those posts.) More kid stuff ... or less? Parenting? Babies? Vespas? Craft fairs? DIYs? Is there something that I used to post about that you miss?

After having baby #2, I sometimes feel like I might be accidentally caught up in that whole 'all I know how to talk about is babies' thing. I will blog about my baby and his cute baby things. Look at my baby. Just yesterday he was staring at a grape. But I have so many other things I'd like to talk about and post about. Really, I do. What do you like to read about here? Would you please take a moment and let me know?

Thanks so much in advance.  :)

I like the array of topics that you're currently featuring—It's a good mix, for sure:)

I do find myself wanting to peak around the corners of your pics to see the rest of your house though!!

Bring back metal mondays!

Oddly enough, the post that continues to get the best traffic on my blog is my Tigerbeat-esque tribute to Alexi Laiho (gotta love metalheads).

I think my favorite thing about your blog is seeing the crafty fun things that you and Lo do — she's at a fun age!

I found your blog through scrapping but I've stayed because I enjoy your random posts. You enjoy more then just paper, yarn, or bento, and funny thing is, so do I! :)
You're a crafty mama & reading your posts is chatting over coffee with a friend!

I like the crafty stuff ... but don't mind the mix. :)

I like the big random mix too. Your crafty posts are my favorites, but I come around regularly because the personal posts make me feel connected to you in a way that tutorials can never quite achieve. If there's anything I'd like to see more of, it's probably Iowa stuff. :)

I am a new reader but I just wanted to say I like that you blog about lots of things. Whoah, that was helpful huh? I like that you mix it up but I definitely enjoy a peak into your homelife because I'm nosey and knitting because I heart knitting

I love the baby posts - mostly because (someday) I hope to be a hip mom and you show that it can happen! You inspire and amuse and your little family is an absolute delight :)

I agree with the other commenters - the current mix is great. I personally love the kids posts and also the crafty/DIY type posts. You have a fresh style and voice and that's why I continue to visit. Keep up the good work!

I love your blog, Jen. Ironically, our lives are relatively similar but yours seems more fascinating then mine.
My daughter is a bit younger than Lo but I love reading your craft ideas for little ones. I have already tried making the Perler bead necklaces with my kid. Granted, I would love to ask you how you kept the beads on and not flowing off the bottom or top. A shoelace knot did not help me much. I should add my husband finished this craft as I left in frustration. :).
I also love the bento ideas. I think bento is adorable and my daughter is becoming more and more picky about what she will eat. I need help making eating more fun for her. I love to eat and clearly could use a little bit of her disinterest.
I love to knit and adore seeing other's FOs. I think your scrapbooking pages are inspiring as well. I haven't scrapbooked in over three years but have a huge craft room full of supplies. Your pages have made me want to get back into it.
I really couldn't say that any of your topics are unwelcome. I enjoy reading them all.

I meant to add, based on your twitter feed, I'm looking forward to pictures from your Walt Disney World trip. We visited in April and it was truly magical. My daughter was overjoyed to meet the princesses and characters around the park. She asks me every day to go back.

I'm new to your blog (after finding you through your awesome scrapbooking bubbles!) and I love what you're doing so far! I'd love to hear more about living in Iowa (since most bloggers seem to be from the coasts) and more scrapbooking stuff :)

I bought one of your cowls at a craft show, got your blog off a card, & followed you ever since. I love everything you blog about...it's a good mix of craft, real life, kids, & travel.
