baby pictures

One week ago, I was here. With my one-day-old baby boy. It's only been a week but what a week it's been. Here are some of our favorite photos of how the baby life has been going.
Here's how it all started – with a crazy fast delivery and a healthy little guy.

This is Allie, our labor and delivery nurse (who is also Bo's cousin.) We loved having her there with us and she was seriously amazing.
 Little Bowie, one day old.
Lo's first visit was the sweetest thing ever.

She's a natural.
My sleepy boys.
One last hospital room service meal.
Time to pack up.
And go home.
Where we've settled in quite nicely. It's pretty much snuggles all day.
And little conversations with our new one.
I love the tiny white t-shirts. The tiny socks and diapers. The tiny hands that already have such a strong grip. The tiny cries and hiccups. I'm drinking it all in because I know too well how fast he'll change and grow. So I'm enjoying the tininess. Enjoying my babe.

how amazing Jen. I have to admit this made me cry a little. Seeing little Lo hold her baby brother with such pride. I cannot believe that our little one was just so small only a few months ago. I imagine it is so neat for you to have a newborn in your house !! A bit surreal too maybe ??! I know I feel like I am dreaming most of the time....but what a wonderful dream ??!

Congratulations! I'm a new reader -- I found you around 36 weeks. But, I'm really enjoying your blog. I'm at 19 weeks now and am in the thick of knitting anything baby. Loved reading through your weekly progress and, now, seeing Bo in the flesh.

one word: AWE!!
He's perfect, Jen. So wonderful to hear that you had a good delivery! It's such a blessing when it can be quick and drama-free. Oscar was delivered after 7 minutes of pushing, and that was fantastic. ;)

I love the photos of Lo holding him!! So sweet.
Congrats again!! xo

*totally off subject but heard ted talk the other day abt how eCaptcha's using all these "prove you're not a robot" logins to digitalize millions of words/day in order to digitalize millions of books. thought that was so cool.
