she's three...

This past weekend, our house looked like this ...

Lotus picked Ni Hao Kai Lan for the theme this year (which was perfect, since today was also Chinese New Year!) She's been talking about this party since July. ;)

Two days of birthday parties ... 50 cupcakes, paper lanterns, paper flowers, paper garlands, fortune cookies, chop sticks, adventures in frosting + fondant, plus lots of friends and family. It was definitely a busy weekend, but celebrating another birthday with my baby girl is definitely one of the most fun parts of being a mom.

  15. Hi Jen! I have to say that I started reading your blog last year when I first bought a shirt from you from my son's 2nd birthday party. I hadn't read your blogs in months, but I just remembered about your blog because I resumed some hobbies of mine that reminded me of your blog. And I just want to say that I enjoy reading about your toddler. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and your blogs totally motivate me to do the fun things I used to do before I had baby #2. I get so busy sometimes that I forget it's the little things in life that matter. So I hope I get to find the time to start scrapbooking again and finally take that knitting class that I've been wanting to take for years now. :) Thanks for bringing "chic" back to mommyhood! :)
