Welcome to nap wars with a two-year-old. Well, nap negotiations maybe. Let me just tell you this: the parents win 87% of the time, but it can be really hard to get this kid to lay down! (This is dedicated to this pretty friend who also has some fun with nap wars. And also this girl, who suggested that our kids had possibly been texting each other to share tactics.)
you're right. she totally DOES do that thing with her nose! heh. so adorable! and "no, i don't sleep" in that cute voice is TOTALLY what i'm going to say next time ike says "aren't you coming to bed?!". thanks, lo!
if only she knew that in 15-20 years she'll be longing for the days when she could nap the day away . . . ha! her face is too priceless when she says "i don't sleep" the first time. love it.
She is adorable. I'm showing this to Sebastian hoping that he picks up on how cute she is and not that there are other kids just like him, thus making him feel justified in his protests.
She has a future in collective bargaining or politics. LOL Lotus! LOL!
